PRESS RELEASE: Matt Warman MP to host mobile train surgery

Matt Warman, MP for Boston and Skegness, will be hosting a mobile surgery on the train from Boston to Skegness on Wednesday 23rd September.

He will be joined for the journey by Jake Kelly, the Managing Director of East Midlands Trains, which runs the route, and his team.

Matt and Jake will be catching the 11.11am train from Boston Station and will be available to speak to passengers about train-related issues, or other matters of concern to constituents. They will also be spending a short time at Boston Station before the journey, and at Skegness Station afterwards.

Matt said, “I am delighted that Jake Kelly will be joining me for a journey on our rail route through the constituency, to see both its value for local people and business, and the challenges it faces.”

Jake Kelly, Managing Director for East Midlands Trains, added, “Boston and Skegness are both very important locations for us and we have worked hard to improve the stations and train service in this area. Over the summer months, we have successfully transported thousands of passengers to and from Skegness to enjoy holidays and day trips and it will be great to hear first-hand feedback and views on our services.”
