St Barnabas Hospice

When I last visited Novak house in June 2019 it was a shell of a building on an industrial estate, zoned for business use and struggling to get planning permission for the community hub and wellbeing centre envisioned by St Barnabas Hospice. I was happy to support the hospice in making their case for this change of use and delighted to return yesterday to see the centre in full use with therapy rooms, treatment rooms, meeting spaces and a garden.
The transformation was made possible by a legacy gift from Stefan Novak supported by hundreds of donations from local people as reflected in the tree artwork in the garden.
St Barnabas still rely on the support of local people to fund their vital end of life support services. With their current appeal centred on the HeART trail throughout Lincolnshire this summer, you can find full details on how to visit the artworks, purchase mini hearts to decorate and see where HeART hubs will be popping up near you here – https://stbarnabashospice.co.uk/hearttrail/
And if you’d like to donate £3 to help St Barnabas continue to provide care for 12,000 local people every year, you can text HEARTTRAIL to 70580.
